We have about 500 sq ft of bamboo flooring and this vacuum works wonderfully. Never looses suction and the suction control lever makes it east to use the vacuum on throw rugs as well. I would certainly recommend this vacuum to all of my friends who have hardwood floors and pets. Works great on pet hair as well.
