I originally purchased this to clean the rugs at my Hair Salon - that was 2 years ago and it is still going strong. The cleaning crew and staff all agree it works great!When it came time for a new vacuum for my home, I knew the Eureka Sanitaire was the only one I wanted . With 2 pets and 2 small children this lightweight upright is perfect. Goes easily up the stairs and the detachable hose takes seconds to use. We just love it. It has a setting for floors and it actually works better then sweeping. In my experience vacuums usually just blow everything around hardwood floors, Not this Work Horse!
