We installed laminate wood flooring and noticed the daily dust that is not visible on carpet. I got tired of bending over to vacuum with my Dirt Devil. I wanted an inexpensive cannister or stick vac to do the job without having to bend over. I decided to try the Eureka stick vac because of the low price and the ability to return it if I didn't like it. I vacuumed my home right away. It sucked up the dust easily without me having to bend over. This vacuum only sucks dust. It doesn't have a brush either powered or non-powered. That is all I wanted. As proof that it did the job I was surprised to find a lot of dust clinging to the filter. Don't expect too much from this vacuum. It is not a carpet or rug vacuum. There is no brush so it can't gather up bigger items.
