I purchased this HQRP 3300mAh Green Line APS Battery around end of 2009, for use in my Roomba 550. My initial impression was quite positive. The battery pack contains enough power to run my Roomba for nearly 2.5 hours, which is longer than the run time of the original battery pack (when new).After one year of light use (usually just one complete sweep per week), the run time has decreased to about 1.5 hours. During the next 12 months, the runtime deteriorated even faster. After about 27 months (which translates to about 130 charge/discharge cycles), the battery pack can hardly power the vacuum for 10 minutes now.I opened up the battery pack, and determined that one cell was particularly weak. As with any battery pack, the weakest cell always drag down the capacity of the while pack. But even after manually charging and discharging that one cell for several cycles, the whole battery pack only improved very marginally. So now I have no choice but to look for another replacement battery pack for my Roomba.Of course, there are probably other no-name replacement battery packs that are of worse quality than this HQRP product. But for my money, I expect any rechargeable NiMH batteries to last more than 130 cycles. Hence I can only give it a neutral rating.
