By the way, when I bought this, it was model 12006 and it is the model that is blue. I see that those pictures are gone and replaced with another now, so I'm reviewing the blue one.I find that it cleans as well as any other, large or portable. I use the manual option more because I find that the automatic part uses a LOT of detergent. My other complaint, along that vein, is that the automatic cleaning leaves the floor too wet. The good news is that I can just take the hose and suck out most of the excess moisture so, once I figured that out, I was happy with it.I do like the portability as, having recently acquired a puppy, I was getting tired of pulling out my full-size carpet cleaner for spot cleaning.
