We use thie Dyson DC35 for quick cleanup on our wood floors & area rugs. We have been amazed by the amount of dirt and dog hair collected. The unit works quite well, but needs couple of changes to make it a 5* unit.1. The handle that you hold is to large for my spouse to hold comfortably.2. The power trigger needs a lock " ON" of some sort. Even with my big hands, trying to keep the unit running is very uncomfortable. Dyson should have caught and fixed those problems before releasing this unit.
