Turn the Sebo Felix vacuum on and it almost screams "German Construction". Well, not really screams as it is very quiet. All of the moving parts move, swivel and slide like the well-made piece of precision equipment it is. I found it was very easy to snap together out of the box and the product itself, though lightweight for a vacuum cleaner, has a good solid heft to it.There is an extra head that can be snapped on for cleaning parquet floors. I was truly impressed with this product. There was a minimum of noise, it reached many places my old clunker couldn't get into, and there was no "funny smell" from particles getting into the air. The main thing though is that the carpets are the cleanest they've ever been. There is a slider located at the on/off button to allow you to give a particularly stubborn area some extra suction.I was originally concerned that the replacement bags were going to be prohibitively expensive but I found a dealer via Amazon were you can get them for about a buck sixty each. Not too bad.Let's face it, vacuuming will always be a chore but if you want to step up to the next level of floor cleaning I'd highly recommend the Sebo Felix vac. You and your carpets will be happy you did.
