First off, I did not buy this item on Amazon.com I got a better price from another vendor. Now that said, the Vacuum is very well built of quality materials. It is very user friendly and very quiet when running. The vacuum has power to spare, does an excellent job on bare floors which was the reason for the purchase. I am using this vacuum for home use and not for commercial application. Judging by the sound of the motor it should last a live time. After reading many many reviews on Home style vacuums I decided the Pullman Holt would be the best for an all around good vacuum. It has a low profile and a small footprint, ideal for home use. The dust bag holds 3-4 time the amount as home style vacuums which is another plus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vacuum to anyone weather it be for home use or commercial application. Good luck if you should to buy one.
